Château Cantegril

2009 Château Cantegril Barsac Sauternes: A rich golden colour, with a bouquet of rich sweet sugar syrup with a herbal undertone.   In the mouth one got a sweet start that turned drier with time and ended on a honey impression.  It was somewhat diluted, with a taste of black tea and a touch of Botrytis.  The finish lasted 50 seconds.  Nothing very special, but nice and crafted well.  Drink - 2028.   3.5/5
