Nomade Absolu de Parfum by Chloé

A bright but slightly spicy and warm opening with a lightly sweet touch - probably a davana in action.   Touches of artemisia make a transient appearance.

The drydown is a bit frutier, with fresh cherries, plums and bit of a fizz in the background.. The fruits are more of the unripe kind, and whilst I get a bit of a sweet flavour, they are not particularly sweet on me.

Later in the base a mossy impression is added, an oakmoss that has a slightly metallic undertone.  By now the fruitiness has evaporated, and some nigh molasse-like residual sweetness remains in the olfactory underground.

I get moderate sillage, very good projection, five hours of longevity on my skin.

A bright and light-filled spring scent for warm spring days, with a bit of an original touch all right, but too generic and too egregiously synthetic to truly impress.  2.75/5
