KINGSTON SPANISH COURT HOTEL

A pleasant lobby with ample of natural light.

The Junior Suites are spacious and maintained well.

At the bar.  A civilised place to drink.

A civilised place to eat.

Although this might not be a completely independent firm, it is not part of a large chain of hotels.

SUMMARY

A hotel of simple elegance that manages to exude character, local flair and a somewhat more personal and intimate setting.  It has  nice rooms, a pleasant and stylish restaurant, efficient hot water supplies, good security in place, a friendly and helpful staff with the front desk manager being very approachable, and all in a good location.  There are two bars, one of the the pool bar, which is a delightful place to have a relaxing cigar; the cocktails and drink selections are good.   The main drawback is the lack of a shoeshine service.  Not a super-polished establishment, but an urban favourite on this beautiful island.   4/5.

The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel

A somewhat bland architecture following the International Globalised Concrete High Rise Block approach, but the lobby has an elegant touch.  Solid service and facilities are given in this business hotel, with the pool area being very nice; it has a full Spa Service.  An excellent location in the Kingston CBD area.   3.5/5
