Weingut Zum Talheim

2016  Pinot Noir ‘3 Bar’ Weingut zum Talheim Schaffhausen fully de-stemmed and short must fermentation, hand-picked,  matured in used barriques, partly in a steel tank with short cultivation:  mid-dark ruby colour with w violet tinge, with a restrained cherry bouquet.  On the palate ripe cherries and plums; it very balanced with jsut the right amount of acidity.  It lacks deoth and texture a bit, and the finish is 30 seconds.   1200 bottles produced.  Drink - 2023, March 2019.  3/5
