DELTa sKy clubs and business class lounges

NEW YORK

JFK - John F Kennedy Airport

Delta Sky Club JFK International

A welcoming entrance area greeted me.

The mains sitting area had a run-down and shabby feel, with worn-out carpets, but it was spacious with some natural light, and the seats comfortable - certain bigger than in some other U.S. airline lounges.

A pleasant view of the runway from the lounge on a sunny day.

The was no dedicated dining area, with the coffee tables near the seats being too small.  Whilst the buffet food was a bit soggy and messy to some extent, the quality was good otherwise and the selection and variety very good.

An excellent Kosher selection was on offer.

Cardboard plates were a bit of a let-down, as was the plastic cutlery.

The bar had a poor choice of wines, but a good selection of spirits of adequate quality.

 The shower facilities were adequate.

Overall an average lounge, and not up to the general international Business Class standard of the best international airlines. 2.75/5
