2003 Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Auslese Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben Mosel Saar Ruwer Riesling: A nice bouquet that is followed on the palate by strong acidity; it is more light and elegant than rich, with a very restrained sweetness.  It has the spritzy whiffs this vineyard is known for in the levels below Beerenauslese.  There is some pear in it, but I only get little Botrytis in this.   It had a friable cork.  February 2019.   3/5

2004 Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Auslese Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben Mosel Saar Ruwer: A nice  nice bouquet exuding a typical Riesling nose, on the palate with balanced acidity, a bit of pear, and it is very similar to the 2003.  It has a  very restrained sweetness with a touch of spritz, but with little Botrytis. A perfect cork.  February 2019.   3/5
