Royal Montcourt

Royal Montcourt is a Marque d'acheteur of the company La Maison Du Champagne.  They produce this for the Australian wine importer James Busby, who supplies the companies associated with Coles supermarket, incl. First Choice Liquor, Vintage Cellars and Liquorland.

NV Royal Montcourt Brut Grande Cuvée (50% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Meuniere, 15%Chardonnay) : There is very little bouquet, with a tart lemon flavour, hints of yeast and touches of stone, and a finish of over twenty seconds.  Not bad at all.  3/5
