ROCCHE DELL ANNUNZIATA

2015 Rocche Costamagna - Rocche dell’Annunziata Barolo - made from the Nebbiolo grape: a clear transparent medium-ruby colour; a nose that is light with pepper and redcurrant in it.   In the mouth again there are  redcurrant peppers, with juicy character; then a mineralic undertone with woods and lots of acidic tannins towards the end, with a finish of 30 seconds.  nice but not very impressive.  Overall 3/5
