COGNAC NEAT

A pleasant opening combining a sweet pipe tobacco with an anise flouring that works well with it.  there is a slightly boozy undertone, but I do not get much of a Cognac impression here - may be whiffs of traces of a bland Bon Bois very transiently.

Later on a soft and moderately dark patchouli appears, and an equally shadowy synthetic musk is slipped in too.

I get soft sillage, adequate projection, and three hours of longevity on my skin.

This autumnal scent is pleasant a a tobacco fragrance, but not convincing as a Cognac-centred creation.  2.75/5
