An average Business Class check-in counter with friendly and efficient staff.
A good cabin layout with aisle access for all.
The cabin was spacious enough, with good privacy in the seats. The overhead bins were quite spacious.
The seat was of average Business Class size; probable in the mid-range and comfortable enough. The seat storage capacity was inadequate.
The foot area was the Achilles heel of the seat design: too small, too narrow and too cramped. The storage space was insufficient.
Whilst the power socket area looks a bit old, it worked wee, including the USB connection.
The amenity kit in its design as well in its content was excellent for Business Class; re-usable for other purposes and stylish too.
The overhead screen was mediocre.
The seat screen was a bit better, and the entertainment programme average.
The food election was excellent overall, including the main courses.
All the courses of a simplified express dinner were delivered delivered about 15 minutes after the plane had reached cruising altitude; this was excellent for maximising one's sleep.
A good choice of desserts and cheeses was offered.
The wine list was good for a Business Class flight, with a very good selection of red wines in particular.
The choice of spirits was good.
The stemware was clearly suboptimal for Business Class, but at least the attempt of having a pseudo-stem was better that water glasses for the Champagne - although this choice of what looks like a variety of a Glencairn glass is a bit strange - except for the Whisky, of course...
The staff were very friendly and the service was efficient and well-organised. March 2019. Overall 3.25/5
