Acqua Essenziale Blu

The top notes consist of fresh citrus notes; lemon and bergamot with hints of ripe grapefruits.

In the drydown some magnolia is present, with a strong aquatic undertone. Additionally, a wood note develops with herbal green touches in the background.

The base is noteworthy due to an amber impression that combines with a tonka that add some sweetness towards the end.

I get moderate silage, adequate projection and five hours of longevity on my skin.

Not unpleasant as a scent for cooler summer days, it is marred by being quite thin and anaemic for most of its development, rather generic and painfully predictably synthetic. Not bad, just mediocre.       2.5/5
