2015 Elio Altare Barolo DOCG Nebbiolo grape: the colour is ruby and quite transparent; in presents with a bouquet of medium density with aromas of  raspberries, strawberries, redcurrant, cherries, a dash of black pepper, and hint of soft nappa leather.  In the mouth it expressed raspberries cherries, with quite fine and not particularly obtrusive tannins; the latter soften with exposure of the wine to oxygen.   Overall overall more elegant than powerful, with a nice finish of 50 seconds.  Drink -2030.  May 2021.  3.75/5
