Tribeca Grill 2006: high noise levels, with a good cuisine and a very good wine list, but the service was suboptimal at times.  3.5/5

Lutèce  André Soltner 1987: all perfect except the service - but close to perfection.  4.75/5   The trailblazer to prime French Cuisine in NYC.

Daniel (old) 1995 5/5, 2002  Perfection in decor, food, service and with an winderful wine list.  Overall 5/5

Bouley 2001 5/5, 2003 5/5, 2005: repeat attendances, dinner and some lunches, all perfect, with the lunches of the same standard as the dinners - an unusual feat in a top establishment.  Stellar service always. Overall 5/5
