Glenfarclas 25 years old matured in Oloroso Sherry casks 43% ABV:  The colour was a medium-strength ambery gold, with a nose of dry sherry, oak, bread, herbs , a bit of menthol, and dried fruit.  In the mouth there were tannins, lots of black pepper, spices, a bit of ripe orange, nutmeg, mixed nuts, citrus, wholemeal bread, dried fruit, gingerbread , and cardboard, with a finish of 90 seconds.  June 2021.  3.5/5
