YUZU

BY ACQUA DI PARMA

The opening is mainly bergamot, not very fresh, mixed with the yuzu that gives this product its name.  a transient dash of Sichuan pepper adds a brief diversion, but disappears quickly on me.

he drydown is floral, with a pleasant mimosa evident mainly.  Other florals are joining, a faint lotus, weak violet leaves and equally restrained green jasmine.

The base adds faint hints of licorice and white musks.   A nonspecific woodsiness marks the last half hour or so; but not much of the sandalwood promised in the description is noted.

I get weak sillage, limited projection, and three hours of longevity on my skin.

This summery scent is characterised by a simple but pleasant opening, a fairly generic drydown, and a bland base.  Not impressive at all.  2.5/5
