Gutteridge  Eau de Parfum

The opening blast combines a rich and fresh bergamot paired with lime components - natural mostly.

The drydown turns fruitier, with a redcurrant impression that is not really on the sweet side.  Soon a moos impression arises, which is veering toward a gentle oakmoss that only conveys a very retrained crispness but no real harshness.

The base adds some fairly slim and restrained tonka, which adds a touch of sweetness in the background that is never intrusive of cloying, and blends in seamlessly with the rest of the mix, including the whiffs of amber that appear closer towards the end.

I get moderate sillage, excellent projection and eight hours of longevity on my skin.

A classic fougere, composed of ingredients of high quality.  3.75/5
