NIEPOORT BATUTA TINTO

2016 red wine: dark crimson colour,  with a bouquet of violets, and in the mouth violets and sour cherry with a touch if iodine; it is very acidic and with lots of tannins but sufficient fruit is present too - it is very young still.  Drink – 2027.  march 2019.  3/5
