Concrete

by Comme des Garçons

The opening is bright, sweet, with a fruitiness that i quite nonspecific on me, although with a bit of an effort white peaces might by in it.  A somewhat spicer accord joins in very quickly, mainly a cardamom impression,in conjunction with a laboratory 'cinnamon' that has a fresh-ish, nigh fizzy undertone at times.   As 100% lab-concocted cinnamons go, this not a particularly impressive one.   This combination result in an unusual opening phase though that is quite intriguing.

Hints of florals shine through occasionally, together with a woodsy aroma.  Hints of sandalwood appear transiently.

I got moderate sillage, very good projection and five hours of longevity on my skin.

This spring for warm autumn days stats with quite an original initial phase, with the combination of components resulting in a rather interesting result.  Unfortunately, otherwise it is rather disappointing, with the rest of the development being quite mundane, and the other - egregiously synthetic -  ingredients being quite generic and dull.  Still, the unusual start saves it from a straightforwards negative score.  Released 2017.  Overall 2.75/5
