The top note is lavender-based, but a delightful tarragon with fresh geranium notes creates quite a special top note potpourri.
The drydown is dominated initially by a great woody fern aroma. The base is a classic fougère-style affair with soft oakmoss, light peppery spices and musk,
surrounded by a smooth and delicious amber in the background. This makes the base notes more than a run-of-the-mill fougère by giving it an unexpected twist. With just a touch of tanginess,
it is, especially after the initial blast, quite a softened affair. The last hours have a soapy component added.
It displays good development, silage and projection with a marvellous longevity of eight hours. Great in spring.
A fougère that is neither very harsh nor dull.
Discontinued alas.
