VENEZIA (original version)

by Laura Biagiotti Fragrances

  • The opening is quite a unqiue blens of sandalwood with fruity notes - think blackberries and prunes, witht a slightly brooding undertone.

The drydown keeps some fruitiness but turns distinctly floral, with a jasmine dominating, but the sandalwood reamains even until the basenotes.  The latter also adds a balsamic undertone that is very pleasant.

I get moderate sillage, adequate projecton, and six hours of longevity in my skin.

  • What so far sound like a pleasant scent is characterised by the use of ingredients of a very high quality, natural and rich, albeit on the discrete and non-intrusive side.   A humble facade hiding a surprisingly glowing experience.

Launced 1992, now discontinued.
