VARIG INTERNATIONAL LOUNGE

This airside Lounge in Galeão International Airport, available also to Staralliance passengers who qualified for entry,  was a frequent stop in the 1990s and early 2000s, before Varig went out of business.   There was not much substantive food available, and the drinks selection was not great either for a Business Class Lounge, but it was nicely quiet and very spacious.  Overall 3/5.

Later on this lounge was used by TAM Airlines.
