2015 Cobos Malbec Marchiori Estate Paul Hobbs Mendoza:
the colour is a deep ruby red that is a bit transparent. The bouquet is composed of rich and intensive blackberries, dried prunes and currants, as well
as hints of ripe black cherries.
On the palate the faun really begins: rich blackberries, intense blackcurrant, raisins and a sumptuous fruity sweetness with a lovely velvety impression.
This all was in perfect balanced with the slight bitterness displayed over time. It is smooth and supported by well-integrated oaky tannins. It is a bit limited in texture, rich and
intense - but never overpowering. initially it is tailing off in intensity at the early stage, with a thinner finish of 40 second. This impressive wine is an archetypical top Mendoza
Merlot. Drink until 2030.
